homemade spinach soup

A few weeks ago we had some spinach in the house, not scheduled to be used for anything else and because it needs to be used within a few days, it was made into soup.  It has an intense, rich flavour on account of the high iron content.  Probably one of the most nutritious home made soups we have had in a while.
